Public Consultation closed in 07th of August of 2023

This public consultation is intended to collect opinions and feedback on the accreditation process of law firms to participate in the National Project Repository of the Brazilian Initiative for the Voluntary Carbon Market

 

Legal entities will have access to the documents of project owners and will have the opportunity to conduct due diligence on the material, certifying the veracity and accuracy of project information and helping to ensure legitimacy and integrity in the market. In order to guarantee credibility in the due diligence process, minimum criteria have been proposed for a law firm to become eligible to conduct due diligence on projects present in the Repository - these minimum criteria are the subject of this public consultation
